Medford "Jay" Brown, IV

Jay’s primary practice areas include personal injury work (focusing primarily on automobile accidents), insurance defense, all areas/issues involving motor vehicles, guardian ad litem representation, traffic court, and general civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, and he is proficient in Spanish.

Jay is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Fredericksburg Area Bar Association, and Virginia’s 15th Judicial Circuit Bar Association.

Jay graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his law degree from the University of Richmond in 2008, where he was a John Marshall Scholar, graduating magna cum laude. He worked for a variety of legal organizations in the Fredericksburg area while in law school and has been practicing law his entire career at Parrish Snead Franklin Simpson, PLC.

He loves animals and runs Spartan races in his free time. Jay works night and day for his clients, and he is always easily reachable by phone or email.
